What is his/her main hobby? (Singing, Instrument, Sports, Cards)
The future? (Would you character aspire to be an X-Man, or just become a teacher to help aid new students)
These are all extra pointers to help you flesh out your personality besides the characters base personality traits.

Mostly key points birth, any child hood friends or key events before mutation, did they like their parents, what moments before mutation affected who the are/were when they became mutants themselves.
Mutation comes at a point of heightened emotional stress in the puberty years typically. So try to remember that most times these are TRAUMATIC events in most cases (traumatic for a teenager could be losing family or losing the prom queen crown)
Are they at Xaviers/LI now? Are they homeless seeking refuge? Where are they, and how did they get there?
