Tabby was always amazed at how life had improved for her so vastly upon moving to NYC. She was doing well financially, and for the first time ever was living on her own, successfully, with money to spare. She was so used to living with nothing that it was nothing for her to save up her money. And save she had.
Her place was humble, nice but understated, just the way she liked it, and registered to a fake name, and so was her phone number. There had been a few times when her father had attempted to find her. He'd nearly succeeded. Well, he had succeeded, she saw him outside her door and just hadn't ever returned to that place.
Whatever, it was totally unimportant. Right now, Tabby was on her way home from one of those super fun, relatively geeky photo shoots, just in time for lunch. Some pep in her step, she was listening to music over her tiny little headphones and every so often she would covertly roll a bomb several feet and giggle when it made a small *pop* that wouldn't cause any damage and the people nearest it would jump.
This was her favourite game.
She was wearing a comfortable tank top and camouflage shorts, complete with combat boots and a military officer's hat. It was from the shoot, she couldn't remember right now exactly what it had been for but it involved big guns and had been an awful lot of fun.
Those were always the best shoots.

Rose stretched as she walked out of the coffee shop that had been a living hell for the past seven hours. She hadn't expected it too be as busy as it was, but the discount on the coffee was nice. She was hoping to find something to pass the rest of the day, and figured it shouldn't be too hard in New York.
Dressed in a black shirt with the "Dishonored" symbol on it, with a short denim jacket and jeans, Rose took a look around as her mind raced on various thoughts. She was needing to get out of her apartment for a while for something other then work or class. Her eyes shot from one add to another, as she continued down the street.
It was then that she heard the loud pop, and it nearly caused her to jump at the sound. Turning around to try and found the source, she caught eye of someone who was walking down the street that just didn't quite fit in among the other passer-by's. "Well then, that would be something one doesn't see everyday."
Walking down the street, Rose tried to keep her eyes open for anything out of the ordinary aside from her outfit. It was then she saw the small orb fly off before the sound continued. "Boom goes the dynamite." She mumbled under her breath as she barely caught sight of the what had caused the sound.
Moving at a faster pace as to try and get around her, it would be an interesting conversation. Rose took note of what she was wearing before taking a few more steps past her, ignoring everyone else at this point. Leaning against a wall, partly to catch her breath, Rose jumped as another boom went off near by. Once she was close enough, Rose decided to speak up loud enough to try and get her attention over the headphones. "That was amazing. How do you do that?" Rose was sure she had an answer all ready, but she was curious to see if she was correct.
