:: PERSONALITY ::
Having been born near Jerusalem and raised near the city in Israel Ruth is very much pro-Israeli in all things. As far as she's concerned the steps taken by the Israeli government in addressing the various problems that the nation of Israel faces both domestically and internationally are the correct courses of action. She has very little compassion for Arabs and, at this point, very little desire in dialoguing with or getting to know anyone of Arabic origin. Describing her as pro-Zionist would be a very accurate description.
Being from Israel Ruth is also openly Jewish. She reads from the Torah and other Jewish Scriptures and celebrates all of the major Jewish holidays, such as Hanukkah, Rosh Hashanah, and Yom Kippur. Her entire moral code is predicated on her Jewish beliefs and, as such, she has a very well defined idea of what is right and what is wrong. This sense of morality also means that, comparatively speaking, Ruth is a fairly conservative girl on a lot of different levels.
Beyond her strongly pro-Israeli sentiments and Jewish beliefs Ruth tends to be a fairly outgoing girl, most of the time. She's not overly bubbly or too happy, but she won't usually go out of her way to shun anyone unless they give her a good reason to do so. However, when faced with a lot of changes all at once she can tend to clam up a little bit. This allows her to take time to assess the new situations and surroundings that she finds herself in before retuning to what would be considered her more normal personality once she feels comfortable again.
In terms of interests and issues that she feels strongly about or that are significant Ruth is all over the board. For example, on the issue of mutant rights she doesn't really have an opinion since she's never really been exposed to any way of handling mutants beyond what the Israeli method. On many issues she defaults to what she believes is correct based on her religious background.
When it comes to more mundane things Ruth is very much a child of the world in that she enjoys playing soccer. Her history and training from the government have also instilled in her a love of firearms and martial arts. She's also learned to cook from necessity in order to be able to fulfill the religious dietary restrictions that come with being a Jew. For example, she is strongly anti-bacon. Her preferred subjects in school are history and computer sciences. In terms of clothing choice she will typically prefer to go for functional over style, but that's not to say that she can't turn heads when she wants to.

:: MUTATION ::
- :: Enhanced Physical Attributes ::
Ruth possesses enhanced strength, speed, agility, durability, reflexes, and stamina. In many ways she is still growing into these powers and abilities and while none of them will ever reach the peak of what some others can do since she'll never be as fast as Quicksilver or as indestructible as Colossus she will far surpass humans in all regards. At her peak she will be able to dodge bullets, run at speeds approaching seventy miles per hour for hours on end, withstand small arms fire up to .50 caliber, and bench press around 50 tons. However, right now she's considerably less impressive. For now she tops out as being able to sprint at peak human speed for two hours, perform acrobatic feats worthy of an Olympic gymnast, and bench press around a ten tons while having no special immunity to weapons fire though her bones are significantly harder to break than a normal person's.- :: Power Transference ::
Ruth possesses the ability to transfer her life essence into other people. This has the side-effect of granting random low-level super powers to whoever receives her life essence. Ruth retains the choice, entirely at her own discretion, of taking back that life essence that she bestows on others whenever she so chooses. For the moment Ruth does not know she possesses this ability, it has manifested but she has never used it and does not know about.- :: Regenerative Healing Factor ::
Ruth possesses a limited healing factor. It is nowhere near as strong as those of individuals such as Wolverine or Deadpool. However, despite her natural resistance to injury, she can be hurt. In those instances she will, eventually, be able to heal herself three times faster than a normal human. She will never be able to regenerate a lost limb or organ. Right now she heals a little bit more than one and a half times as fast as a normal human.

:: History ::
Ruth was born as the daughter of Hizkiyahu and Daliya Bat-Seraph. As a child growing up she lived a fairly standard childhood. She went to school where the sense of Israeli rightness was instilled in her and she was taught that, on some levels, the Israeli's and the Palestinians were enemies and always would be. She had a few close friends in her pre-adolescent years, though they all fell away as she entered puberty. As she entered puberty Ruth was subjected to the legally required genetics test by the Israeli government to determine whether or not she was a mutant.
Once she was identified as a mutant, at the age of twelve, Ruth and her family were removed from their home in Jerusalem and transferred to a government run kibbutz near the city instead. There Ruth began to receive special schooling and training from the Israeli military (IDF) and the Israeli secret service (Mossad). While she was undergoing this training and education Ruth's parents and brother were all being well cared for by the Israeli government, just as were the families of all specially gifted children.
The special education and training coursework that was Ruth's primary government selected focus was in the areas of espionage and counterintelligence and it was completed in addition to her normal load of school classes in everyday subjects. While in the program Ruth was taught to be proficient in Krav Maga at the highest levels while also receiving training in marksmanship and weapon proficiency, knife fighting, basic computer hacking, and skills used for breaking and entering.
Fearing what their daughter was being turned into, and knowing that she was fast approaching the age when she would be required to enter the service of the IDF, Ruth's parents had her spirited away in the dead of night by people sympathetic to the cause of mutant rights. Ruth was placed on a plane and flown to Ammon, Jordan before going from Jordan through a series of connecting flights to New York City.
Prior to leaving her parents Ruth was given detailed instructions, and a not insignificant amount of cash, on how to reach a special school for mutants located in upstate New York. Her parents had already made the necessary arrangements for Ruth to be enrolled in the school. Ever the practical one, and dutiful daughter, Ruth made her way from La Guardia Airport to a bus station, from there to Westchester, and from there on foot to her destination at the special school for mutants.

Ruth took in a deep breath and blew it out on a sigh through her nose as she took one last step from the exit gate and onto what could not be called anything else other than American soil. She had a black backpack with the Israeli flag stamped on it over her left shoulder and an overnight-sized duffel bag with a patch depicting a menorah sewn on it. Most people wouldn't have recognized the patch as being the emblem of the Israeli Secret Service. In Israel she would have stuck out, but here everyone was oblivious.
What did stick out was the unaccompanied minor badge pinned to her shirt. This was partially because it was in Hebrew, Arabic, French, and English. It was also partly because it was deeply offensive to her. She had been trained by the Israeli government for years now to serve as a spy, before slipping away right under their noses. She was reasonably certain she didn't need it broadcast that she was an unaccompanied minor. Ruth unpinned the badge and threw it away in the nearest trash can.
The raven haired girl made her way to the baggage carousel and retrieved her one piece of checked luggage, a military issued green sea bag. It wasn't the most stylish luggage in the world, but when a girl was leaving her homeland, possibly forever, she couldn't really afford to be bothered with the current trends in luggage.
Shouldering the heavy bag easily, Ruth headed off for the customs area. Getting through customs with her Israeli passport was fairly easy, given the close state of political affairs between the U.S. and Israel. With head held high she marched right past the person holding a placard with her name on it and out into the New York sun.
Within a few moments she was in a cab headed for the bus station. Several hours later in the late afternoon she was stepping off the bus in West Chester and, once outside the town displaying her mutant gifts as she ran through the countryside before reaching the main gate of Xavier's School. Shouldering the bags a bit higher up on her shoulders she began to walk up the long drive in the direction of the front entrance.
"Welcome to Mutant High."
