Angel was already having a grand ol' time. Students were already starting to have fun, even stopping to take some of her sweets. She blushed slightly at the compliment from one of the male students, not saying anything in return. She was pleased he did snatch up one of the cupcakes though. She was buzzing about her table, still humming Sinatra under her breath. Such was Miss Jones. They were lucky she wasn't breaking out in song every few minutes. She still just might. The redhead, finally happy with how her little table was set and taken care of, was getting ready to find a good place for her towel. Of course that was before the pink haired pixie girl smashed into some poor student sending both of them into the water. She, of course, ran towards the two as the fast talking young woman was pulling the other student to his feet.
And exploding with questions.
"Are you two alright?" She asked softly her face wrought with worry. After making sure they were both alright, and neither needed to be taken to the med bay she returned to her table to double check everything before she completely left it to the mercy of the teens.
At least that was until someone tapped her on the shoulder. He was smart not use his talons, but the man would already know she was jumpy by nature.
Because she did in fact jump.
She turned quickly, facing Vidar in shock. However laying eyes on him she smiled brightly. Honestly she hadn't expected to see him at this particular function. Didn't seem like something he'd be interested in. Her green eyes took in his apparel and she smiled even wider. But he had spoken of her towel. She reached for it, her hand grazing her shoulder. It wasn't there. She looked at her own shoulder, and then the other in a bit of a stupor. "Well it was here a moment ago.." She muttered to herself. She found it, however, having fallen off of her shoulder as she worked on her goodie table. She snagged the teal colored towel, still a bit bummed that she hadn't been able to find the one she'd been looking for, and placed it in his taloned hand.
"Thank you, Vidar." The buxom redhead replied sweetly. She also grabbed one of the plates of cupcakes, holding it out to him. "Want one? Made them myself." She beamed, so very proud of herself. If it wasn't obvious to the avian she was in an exceptionally good mood he'd soon know. She took his arm, following him to the chosen spot and helped spread out their towels. "I'm so glad we chose this afternoon. It's a beautiful day." She marveled to herself, her green eyes bright with the backdrop of greenery. Humming to herself she made sure her towel was nice and straight before pausing. "Oh I forgot something, I'll be right back. While I'm over there, do you want me to grab you anything to drink?" She asked sweetly, looking over her shoulder at him.
Angel jogged back to her table a moment, reaching for the small beach bag as well as the items Vidar requested from the refreshments. Upon her return she handed them to him with a smile and removed her sandals. The woman couldn't be bothered to notice anyones face or reactions as that bright yellow shirt lifted up and over her head. She folded it smoothly and then removed the jean shorts. She hummed once more as she placed both articles of clothing in the beach bag, removing the small bottle of sunscreen. Tanning was difficult for someone with her fair skin, but that didn't mean she couldn't enjoy it.
"Once I get you up there where the air is rarified We'll just glide, starry-eyed Once I get you up there I'll be holding you so very near You may even hear a whole gang cheer 'cause we're together"
She sang under her breath, lightly squeezing a bit of the lotion into her hand and applying it to her arms first. She moved on to her legs and returned for her face, stomach, and regrettably her chest. She held her hair up with one hand while the other reached towards her back and she frowned. She glanced back at Vidar. "Do you mind? If it's too terribly uncomfortable I can ask someone else." She said shyly, offering up the bottle of sunscreen.

Matro sighed as he watched the people start to fill out to the lake from his open window. It was starting to turn to one of those days were he was growing even more curious about the other students. Aside from the times he had to talk to others for class the young teen had mostly kept to himself. It was a strategy that kept him alive, and it continued to work.
He could hear Isaac's nagging voice in the back of his head, as he tried to shake off the thought of heading down there. Running his fingers in his hair as he tried to fight the urge. "alright fine." He quickly got dressed in a neon green and black Hawaiian shirt, and a pair of swimming trunk that had a similar pattern. He leapt from his window, and spread his wings as he started making his way to the crowd. He landed not to far off from another group of students, and folded his wings around his shoulders, hoping he wasn't making a mistake.

Masato barely had time to realize what was going on. One second he turned around and saw a student in bikini coming right towards him. The event seemed to slow down long enough for him to have two thoughts. One of those thoughts being there is a girl flying to me, I should duck, which was promptly drowned out by the other thought yelling about a pretty girl in a bikini flying towards him, seriously, he couldn't make this up if he tried.
It was then that reality came back to him and hard. As Masato and the other student both went flying into the water, he was happy he realized what was going on and decided to hold his breath. Coming back up from the water, he couldn't help but look for the other student, mostly out of concern. It didn't take long for him to spot her and hear the long and rapid apology. Shaking his head, Masato took the offered hand to get back up. "It's alright, I was planning on getting in soon anyways." Masato smiled, as he adjusted his now soaked visor.
The smile was cut short as he heard another voice come running up and asking if he was alright. Coughing a small bit as he recognized the one of the teachers running up. "Ye-yeah, I'm fine." It didn't take long before the teacher left, that Masato dropped further into the water, his head being the only thing showing. He smiled back to the pink haired student, before bringing his arms back up with his full body momentum to try and splash her.

"Well it was here a moment ago.."
Vidar accepted the towel from the curvy redhead with an ever so slight smile, something he did only rarely. This would certainly make the crowd much easier to stomach. Plus, while there were plenty of students running around in various forms of dress, or undress as the case may be, Angel was dressed quite modestly so he wouldn't be tempted to stare too much.
"Thank you, Vidar." Want one? Made them myself. I'm so glad we chose this afternoon. It's a beautiful day. Oh I forgot something, I'll be right back. While I'm over there, do you want me to grab you anything to drink?"
"Thanks," Vidar said, accepting the cupcake from Angel and taking a small bite. Not too bad, not too bad at all. "Not too bad, and you're right it is a beautiful afternoon," he said, quickly polishing off the rest of the cupcake and carefully licking his talons clean as he led her over to the spot he had visually staked out which was far enough away from everyone else so as to offer privacy but not so far away that people would think they were being anti-social.
"I'll take a bee... coke," he said quickly, changing mid-sentence to a soft drink instead of an adult beverage. This was a school function. Odds were good that beer wouldn't be an available choice. While she jogged over to the table he spread his towel on the ground next to hers, not really leaving all that much space between the two towels. When she returned a moment later he leaned over her towel and set her bag down next to her towel on the far side opposite where his towel was, taking his glasses covered eyes from her form and not seeing that she was stripping. Then he turned his attention back to her.
'HOLY SHIT!
Boobs, legs, boobs, thighs, boobs, stomach, and boobs were everywhere!
Somewhere in the back of his mind Vidar was vaguely aware that he was staring unashamedly at the redhead, but there was a disconnect somewhere between his mind and the rest of him. He'd seen women that looked like Angel in movies before, and occasionally on covers of magazines that he never perused but more than a few of his fellow soldiers did. He'd always assumed he'd never meet the former and that the latter were so heavily airbrushed that they looked nothing like the women they were purportedly images of.
Yet, here was one right in front of him.
"Once I get you up there where the air is rarified We'll just glide, starry-eyed Once I get you up there I'll be holding you so very near You may even hear a whole gang cheer 'cause we're together"
"Lovely voice," he said in a bit of an absentminded tone, glad that he was wearing sunglasses so she couldn't see how unabashedly he was staring at her form as she applied sunscreen. He was doing exactly what he berated others for doing, but could anyone really blame him?
When she started applying the lotion to her chest he managed to tear his gaze away out of politeness. That seemed to temporarily break the spell, but he still had to use one of his hands to push his jaw shut as he shook his head slightly to try and regain his senses. That helped him process the lyrics she was singing, he was unfamiliar with the artist, but as far as he was concerned from this point forward she could run her fingers over his feathers whenever she wanted.
"Do you mind? If it's too terribly uncomfortable I can ask someone else."
Did he mind? Hell no he didn't mind! Of course, he would never have actually offered to help. It wasn't as if they were dating or anything, so that would have been rude. But, since she had asked he couldn't see anything wrong with it, after all there was nothing inherently sexual about the act.
"Not at all, give me a second," he answered, taking the bottle and setting it aside for a moment before fishing in his pocket and pulling out specially made sheaths for his claws. Carefully he capped his talons. Even as he worked to shove the appealing, but very inappropriate, thought of accidentally slicing the fabric of her top with his talons he knew she'd not appreciate that and, frankly, probably never forgive him if it happened. "Just taking a talon precaution. Don't want to accidentally slice you or your clothing. If you'd lay down this would be easier."
Satisfied with the precautions, Vidar squirted a bit of the sunscreen onto various places on Angel's back once she lay down, placing a bit on her shoulders and a thin line down her spine. Now, to figure out how this worked. Being feathered he'd never needed sunblock, still from having just ogled Angel while she was applying some, from the relative safety of being behind his sunglasses, Vidar had a decent idea of how the process worked.
Lacing his fingers together, Vidar cracked his knuckles like a master pianist. That done he began to massage the sunscreen into Angel's shoulders and neck, hoping that he wasn't applying so much pressure that he hurt her. Gently he worked his fingers under the straps as well. He assumed that the straps would shift, they were thin and saying Angel was generously endowed was an understatement. Therefore, he figured his assumption was logical. That done he moved on to her lower back and worked on massaging the sunblock in there was well.

There were a number of children's shows that really struck a chord with Cory Lennox, Bobby's World being one of them. Most of these shows hadn't even seen the light of day outside of not only her country, but her province. Polkadot Shorts being one of these completely unknown shows. But enough on that.
Eric's reference to Bobby's World got an audible squeak and a little bounce from her, and a very excited smile. "I wanted a fucking bigwheel my entire life because of that show,
" she nearly squealed. Though of course, when he asked if she liked wieners and giggled like a little boy at the comment, she turned bright red. Laughing, still, of course... but totally embarrassed. " The pleasure's all on this side of the table," Cory finally responded when her giggles subsided. It was true, she was actually really enjoying herself. She watched as Eric set up the chair behind him and somewhat dismissed her. She'd not done a lot of socializing since getting here and this really was the closest she had to a friend right now. Which was totally fine by her. She kind of couldn't keep her eyes off of him, but she felt like a bit of a creep when she went ahead. " Well, do you need any help?" she asked, slightly distracted as a bright pink and blue streak flew past and slammed into one of the other students. She giggled but turned her attention back to Eric. [/blockquote]

Julian sat on his bed and considered his choices. He was obviously going down to the little get together. That was obvious. But, the question was, what to wear? The knee length blue swim shorts with a Los Angeles Dodgers logo on the right leg were a no brainer, along with the Oakley sunglasses with their blue lenses. What the hell, in for a penny in for a pound, as the saying went. He pulled in a tight fitting Dodgers T-shirt with the number sixty-six on it and the name Puig on the back before draping a Dodger's beach towel around his neck.
Within a few moments he was out of the Mansion and heading down to the get together. As he spied a group of students on the docks he got an idea. It wasn't the nicest idea, but it would be a fun little joke. It was also a total dick move, honestly that made it even better. Dropping his towel down near some other people, in particular a purple girl in a Bat Man bikini and another boy. Peeling off his shirt he dropped it on the towel and headed down to the docks, going past the couple in the process.
"Nice bikini, Pinkie," he said, pointing at Blink with his right hand as he lifted the glasses from his eyes with his left. He tossed a wink at Blink and didn't wait for her reaction to his remark before continuing on down to the dock.
He padded across the warm wood, out into the middle of the dock. There were, maybe, a half dozen students on the dock. An impish smirk played across the teen's features and a green glow could be seen around the corners of his eyes. "Attention everyone," he shouted out, waiting until everyone was looking at him.
"I'm Hellion, KING OF THE DOCK!" Green light flared from his hands and he lifted all of the students from the dock and hurled them out into the water. For good measure he plucked Pixie and Masato from the water, lifted them ten feet into the air and then dropped them both back into the water as well.
"And there's nothing any of you can do about it," he continued, green telekinetic light still leaking from his hands as he smirked out at everyone and strutted along the dock, preening and mocking everyone. "Game on," he almost growled in a low tone as he raised his hands up and out and created a large shield of telekinetic energy that encompassed most of the dock.

Pixie was very very happy to see that Masato was alright and even that one of the staff members showed concern and came over to make sure everything was copacetic.
Hehe. Copacetic. She liked that word.
When Miss Jones left and Masato sank down into the water, Megan cocked her head to the side slightly, trying to figure out what he was doing. But then he stood up and tried to splash her! Well, he didn't try, he succeeded and she was soaked, but it was okay, this was totally fun! She giggled and dropped into the water herself, trying to splash him in much the same fashion as he'd splashed her but just seconds after she did, she was distracted by a boasting boy on the dock.
Suddenly, she found herself, and many of the other students, plucked from their places and launched into the water of the lake. Deftly, she managed to right herself before actually being submerged but the majority of the other students were not so lucky. She dove quickly and grabbed Masato, afraid that he might hit his head or something. She brought him back to where she knew he could touch the bottom and took off.
Well now she was angry.
Fuming, she flew full speed at the jerk on the dock and ran smack into his shield not seconds after he put it up. Her wings flapping furiously, her emotions completely in the way of her control, she was dousing the area in Pixie Dust and several of the closer students began to hallucinate. Huffing, she managed to right herself instead of falling back into the lake and give Julian the nastiest look she could muster before getting her Dust back under control and going to try and look for students to rescue.
He was a giant meanie! He didn't know if everyone could swim or not!
It was almost impossible to get on her bad side, but this guy, he'd done it.

"He just called me Pinkie." Blink said under her breath, her pupil-less green eyes shimmering a bit. "Not cool, bud." She growled under her breath. Blink stood up, ready to give Mr. Hot Shot a piece of her mind. At least that was until the dude started screaming at the top of his lungs. King of the Dock. He had to be kidding. He just had- The people on the docks and in the water near it all rose from their respective places. Maybe he wasn't kidding... They were all pushed into the water, or back into the water as in the case of the winged girl and some asian fellow. Her brows raised and she looked down at Remy in disbelief. Of course anger was already coursing through her veins just from having someone call her pinkie.
Hot Pink she could deal with.
Pinkie not so much.
"I am not a mouse."
Blink cracked her knuckles, stomping towards the dock. "I'll be right back, Rems." She grumbled. She watched that shield come up and grinned. Now this she could deal with. After all she'd gotten much better at controlling her jumps. At least lately. Blink ran full speed so when she did teleport he'd get the brunt of the force. And once she reached the wood of the dock...
BLINK!
Clarice appeared behind Julian, already poised for the kick. Her feet collided with his back and the momentum would send him reeling forward. "Queen of the Do-" She frowned feeling almost as if something warm wrapped around her legs, pulling her with him.
Damn telekinetics.
Her body hit the water just seconds after his. Luckily in two completely different places so she didn't have to worry about landing on the dink. Blink, beneath the waves, shivered as her body covered itself in goosebumps and she kicked her legs, her eyes looking to the surface. Of course she kept sinking.
Oh shit... She didn't know how to swim.
Her arms flailed as she tried to figure out the mechanics that she had seen so many times and simply assumed she knew. But her body was completely out of time, and panic was setting in. Panic set itself in and she closed her eyes trying to will herself to blink back on land. But her powers didn't kick in, and she couldn't force them to do as they were told. She hadn't taken in a large enough breath, already feeling her lungs aching. She was at the mercy of the lake, seeing the feet of her classmates while no one seemed to realize she hadn't come back up. Her vision became blurry as her mouth opened of its own volition, taking in a gulp of water.
It was getting dark.
And she didn't think it was because the sun was going down.
I'm going to die...
I didn't even get to have all dressed chips one last time...
Fuckin' Dink..

Matro had decided to fly out over the lake a bit as he watched some of the others play around. It was chaotic and his ears where killing him from the noise, but he couldn't help but smile. It was something he wasn't used to, but something he enjoyed none the less. Everything seemed perfect until one student started shouting for attention.
Why do I hate this already. Sure enough, as the energy caused every to go flying into the water, he was pushed backwards. Awkwardly trying to regain flight as his hands skimmed across the surface of the water. "Ass!" He was fuming, but saw the green aura appear again and tried to think on what to do.
It was then he saw a girl appear inside of it and kick him into the water. As he was about to cheer he saw her hit the water as well and start flailing before disappearing beneath the lake surface. "s***." Matro flew to were she started to sink, but before he could react lost track of were she was, panicking he flew a small circle trying to keep an eye out for any sign, as another student jumped in after her. Keeping his eyes pealed from the sky, Matro just hoped they were both alright, and was willing to help them both when they emerge from the water.

Julian walked along the dock, supremely confident in his self-appointed title as 'King of the Dock' and if he had just started a rough housing game, then so much the better. With the telekinetic shield still raised around him he was feeling nigh on invulnerable. No one could get through the shield and he was going to enjoy a nice long reign as king. "Well, what's everyone waiting for," the dark haired teen called out over the water in a challenging way. Making his way out to the edge of the dock Julian stood and preened. Flexing his right bicep he brought it to his lips and kissed it just as an angry pink haired girl buzzed out of the water and ran smack into the shield. Between the hair, the wings, and the dust she was releasing her nickname was too obvious. "Like a bug against the windshield, eh Pixie, love," he called out, eying the various deck chairs around the deck and trying to decide which one looked best. Time for that later. Moving back to the edge of the dock he stood and adopted his Superman pose, chest thrust out and hands on hips. As he stood there he couldn't help but think he even looked a little like a young Clark Kent. "No one can dethrone Superma..." he was in the process of shouting another taunt over the water when he suddenly found himself propelled over the water himself by a firm foot in his back. Whirling in the air as he soared out, he spotted Pinkie. How in the hell had she gotten through the shield? No matter, she wouldn't enjoy the fruits of her labor. He'd send her scampering back for her towel after her top was in his hands. Reaching out a green lit hand in her direction he tried to latch on to the Batman bikini top and rip it from her body. Unfortunately, that kind of fine control eluded him so instead of the garment soaring into his hand he sent Blink soaring out over the water instead. 'That works,' he thought to himself just as he splashed down into the lake. He wasn't in the water for long before he had levitated himself back out with his powers and sped back over to the unoccupied dock. Spinning so he was, once again, facing the water he stood there for a moment and allowed water to drip off of his body as his eyes narrowed and he looked for Pinkie. Where had she gotten off to now? As he was searching the guy that had been sitting with Pinkie on dry land flashed past and drove into the water, but Julian didn't think too much of it since he was too busy looking for his target. Reaching up to his shoulder he brushed some kind of dust off of his shoulder. He must have flown through it on the way back to the dock. Raising some of the dust to his face he looked at it and smirked. She really did make pixie dust looking back out over the water, searching for Pinkie, he was shocked to see... A DRAGON! "Dragon! Dragon! Dragon!" he shouted, powering up completely. His eyes glowed green and he stretched his hands out. The dragon was swooping and attacking the students he'd thrown into the water, like some kind of demented fisherman. Well, fisherthing. With his powers he plucked a boat from the water and hurled it in the direction of Pixie, who he was hallucinating as a dragon. Reaching out with his right hand he ripped a massive oak from the ground on the far bank of the lake and began swatting at the dragon with the tree trunk. He hadn't even wiggled the tree before plucking it, he'd simply pulled it up just as he would have plucked a simple flower. Reaching out with his left hand he began repeatedly smashing a giant fist-like bunch of telekinetic power into the lake, launching giant plumes of water from the lake, trying to get them exactly under Pixie. Each one loosed a torrent of water that made it look as if a depth charge had gone off.

Jean had run to the store with Warren for supplies, because of course this was a cookout and they would need more things like hot dog and hamburger buns, along with extra drinks. It was something extra, a little more than their usual grocery list for the students. She was wearing a modest green tank top with blue jean shorts that cut off just above her knees, and comfortable sandals.
She was just coming up over the cusp of the hill, walking around to the back of the school when she heard shrieks. Quickly, she handed off what she had been carrying to Warren, much to his dismay as he was carrying quite a bit himself and ran toward the back of the school.
What she saw there would have been a publicity NIGHTMARE.
Students in the water, a young Remy running and diving into the water as Julian righted himself and began swatting an entire tree at a flying student, screaming something about dragons. It took her a second, but she figured out what was going on pretty quickly.
Jullian was a bit of a shit disturber, she knew that. And the student he was trying to squash was Pixie. Clearly he was hallucinating.
She plucked the tree out of the air with her telekinesis and set it gently away from the fray while still running down toward the dock, projecting a calm voice into Julian's head.
'Julian, it's time to stop now.'
She hoped it would do enough to distract him long enough so that she could right everything and count the ducklings before dragging him inside.
Julian was distracted from trying to swat at the dragon when the tree was abruptly plucked from his hands. His glowing green-eyed gaze swept the area, searching for the cause. It didn't take long to spot the cause. Quickly enough he spotted the cause, a woman with flaming hair. Literally, the woman's hair was on fire. He supposed she must be a dragon worshipper.
Snarling, he turned his attention from Pixie and formed another build-up of telekinetic energy. Reaching out with his left hand he tried to grab Jean by the throat and lift her into the air as he formed a fist of telekinetic energy with his right hand and tried to slam it into Jean's face.
Of course this was going to be more difficult than that, why wouldn't it be? Without any real warning, Jean was lifted up by her neck and smacked back onto the grounds, with what felt like a hard punch to the face. Surely it would have been worse if she hadn't tried to erect a shield to protect herself.
Well this was just completely out of hand, she had to make sure everyone else was safe. But right now nobody was going to be safe until she had this student properly subdued.
Righting herself and dusting herself off, Jean marched toward Julian with her own shields fully intact, temper rising a little bit.
She knew what she needed to do for this, and she really really didn't want to have to.
Jean had to go in and incapacitate him mentally until she could get him inside.
The closer she got, the stronger her mental hold on him grew until eventually, she willed him to sleep and floated him off of the dock and back toward the school.
There was an odd sense of serenity on the shoreline, the students recovering from the drama would be slow. The event itself hadn't been a horrible idea, though there were clearly no staff members able to handle such a ridiculous outburst. Jean would find out what happened and reprimand accordingly. She floated Julian away from the festivities and into the school, meaning to look for answers.

Post by Vidar Anfinson on Jul 31, 2013 22:50:19 GMT -5
OOC: Thread timeline wise this happens just before Jean's post.
Vidar had just finished rubbing the last of the suntan lotion into Angel's lower back and settled down onto his own towel to enjoy the view of the redhead tanning when there was suddenly a huge commotion coming from in the direction of the lake. Most of the noise he could hear and things he could see indicated that the students weren't in any kind of trouble, rather it looked like someone had started a game of King of the Dock without bothering to ask if everyone else wanted to play. That was rude, but hardly dangerous. The avian mutant flopped on his side and opened a book he'd brought along, though he was actually looking over the top of the book and staring at Angel from behind his sunglasses.
That had been going on for a few moments when something else caught the Norwegian's attention. One of the trees, his trees, on the far side of the lake had been ripped up and was being, apparently, brandished about as a weapon from the looks of things. Straining his ears he could also hear shouts of what sounded like "Dragon".
"Dragon," he said quietly to himself, pulling the sunglasses from his eyes to get a better look at what was going on down at the lake. Sure enough, there was a dark haired boy with green glowing hands who seemed to be obviously the cause of the commotion. Suddenly a series of massive plumes of water shot into the air.
"Come on," he said, tapping Angel with a taloned finger, "Duty calls."
Coming quickly to his feet Vidar took a few sprinting steps, spread his wings and leaped into the air making a beeline for the dock. As he flew in that direction it became clear that the kid was having some kind of panic attack or hallucination or something. The ex-soldier wasn't sure what the proper protocol was for subduing someone, per school policy, in this situation and decided to use his training instead.
When he was directly above Julian he tucked his wings and dove, dropping onto the dock almost quietly behind the teen. In a couple of steps he was directly behind the dark haired teen. In a flash his arms snaked out, his right arm going around the kid's neck as he applied a lateral-vascular neck restraint that would knock the kid out in just a few seconds from oxygen deprivation.
"Wrong move," Julian said, reaching up and peeling the feathered arm from around his neck with one glowing hand, using his powers to augment his strength. Free of the arm Hellion turned and shoved the winged man backwards as hard as he could. The man may have been an angel, but if he was attacking then he was most assuredly the angel of death.
One second everything was under control and the next Vidar was sailing backwards over the water having been shoved telekinetically. A massive plume of water erupted underneath him and the avian man was launched high into the air. The Norwegian tumbled for several moments before managing to right himself. He was just preparing to go in and try again when something more important caught his eye.
Angel was tumbling out of the sky.
Without thinking about it the winged man furled in his wings and dove in her direction. About twenty feet above the surface of the lake he caught the redhead and pulled her in close to his chest. "Hang on," he barked, securing her as much as possible.
'No way I can stop in this amount of space.'
The feathered man fanned his wings a bit to slow them and, at the last instant tucked his right wing and rolled onto his back just before slamming against the surface of the water as he used his own body to shield Angel's.

Post by Masato Oshiro on Aug 1, 2013 0:52:26 GMT -5
To say Masato was confused would be an understatement. One moment in the water, next floating into the air. This normally would only be a minor shock, giving he was splashing water at a student who could fly, but the sudden drop back into the water along with others on the dock kind of caught him off guard. Reemerging from the water Masato was lost on everything that was going on. First he saw a girl appear near the student and both of them go to the water, only to see things go to hell.
Never before has the teen seen anything like this before, and he had willing went shopping on Black Friday. He watched as people panicked, as the student he was playing with go flying toward around the dock in an angry manner, and that was the normal part of it. When he saw a tree start swinging at Megan, he knew he had to step in.
"Hey look out." Swimming close enough to her to get on the docks and try to puller her out of the way from the swing, all the while the other student was screaming about a dragon. There were no dragons here, and if they were he doubt they would have anything better to do other then attack a school in New York. Needless to say he felt something shift as he sneezed. What is this dust? Wiping it off his shoulders the other students disappeared from his mind.
The lake was alive with chaos as he saw a mass of tentacles stretch from the water, a evil language echoed from below the surface. "No, no it can't be. Not here. Masato mumbled in Japanese as what he perceived a tentacle crashed near him on the dock. Taking off on foot, another landed near him on the beach and caused him to go flying and land hard in the sand. Turing to face the rising water, the look on his face showed the terror he was feeling, as he was too panicked to even scream.

Pixie found herself suddenly being swatted at with a giant tree and being called a dragon from the dock! Oh NO! She suddenly realized that she'd been dusting when she was originally so enraged and now there were several students hallucinating, the main aggressor being one of them.
Well this just wouldn't do but there was nothing to be done about it right now.
She managed to dodge the first several swats that Julian took with the Oak, setting down a particularly shaken student on the beach before flying back out into the lake so that no other students would be hurt by the swinging tree. Julian aimed the tree at her and she dodged to her right, just out of reach of the branches, but she was starting to cut it close. She was beginning to get tired.
And then it hit her. She wasn't paying quite enough attention because she'd spotted Masato looking particularly perplexed on the dock. She didn't even know his name yet but he was a friend and she needed to help him! But Julian swung the tree once more and her dodge wasn't entirely effective, being hid hard in her core, taken out from the left side and smacked down into the water.
Pixie was stunned for a moment inside the water, a crazy pain taking over the entirety of her left arm and the sudden face full of water taking her by surprise. Somehow, she made it to the surface and sputtered for air for a moment before whizzing up into the air and trying to spin herself dry. This proved difficult as her arm was not co-operating. She couldn't move it and it hurt SO MUCH!
So instead, Pixie shook her hair out of her face and she noticed Julian being taken away by Miss Jean into the school. She missed what had happened but she was happy that the source of the main commotion was being removed. It was so dangerous! Someone could have gotten really hurt!
She realized that she must have dusted a small area when she landed on the dock, wincing with pain. Her vision was blurred with tears, but she could still tell that Masato was hallucinating.
"Ooohhh no are you alright?! I'm SO SORRY this is all my fault! " It really did feel like it was all her fault because what should have been a simple, however rude prank, had turned into a total disaster because she couldn't control herself properly! And now there were people in the water hallucinating and not hallucinating and there were people hurt from the trees or stunned by nearly being hit by the tree and it was all her fault! She wanted to hug her new friend but she couldn't because one of her arms wasn't working and she was far too deep into shock to realize that she should be headed to the medbay.[/blockquote]

He chuckled as she said that the pleasure was hers to be meeting him. For one he was kind of like an ex-con. Also what she had said was also a quote from the movie Office Space and hearing her say it just put that image in his head. So he was very amused. She offered her assistance with the cooking.
He didn’t really need the help but he wasn’t gonna turn her away if she really wanted to hang out. ”Sure. Couldn’t hurt to have a second pair of hands right?” he said with a smile on his face as he grabbed and set up another chair for her.
He turned his over at the deck as some kind of commotion was going on. It looked like one of the guys was d-bagging it up showing off his powers. This was a clear abuse of his powers and a situation Eric could have handled quite easily via his shadow control. He wasn’t even about to try with what had happened last time he tried to play hero.
Fortunately Ms. Grey had come walking up to handle the situation. Warren had been left to grab most of the groceries but really what could he have done other than wag his wing at the boy. Jean was most definitely the muscle as he learned very well upon meeting them. She had nailed home the point that she could teach him to control his powers.
He took his seat in his chair next to Cory. He grabbed a bottle of sunscreen. ”Want some? We got a bunch for everyone.” Yeah he was a smooth talker but on the flip side this could potentially lead to him getting to help her out when it came time to put some on her back. ”So, uh, what do you do. Ya know for like, powers?”
