:: PERSONALITY ::
In general, Piotr is a well reserved man, generally keeping to himself unless he knows the person. However, his time at Xavier's lessened this to a degree, and around the mansion and his fellow mutants, he'd be more open, and would even greet the new arrivals in a happy attitude. Due to his time at the collective, he's a little rough around the edges, not letting people in beyond a friend, as he doesn't easily trust people, and he is afraid of being hurt; despite never willingly admitting this.
He's grown to admire Xavier's dream, and has even partially adopted it as his own, wanting to build stronger ties between both groups. Though he is alright with humans, his time is college has made him see that the majority still don't care for 'homosuperior', and this has caused Piotr to occasionally question why he risks his life to protect those that would sooner kill him. Though he does find himself questioning this, he never acts upon it, knowing it would go against the wishes of the man he grew to accept as a second father.
He's a very proud mutant, and has been since gaining his powers, and is very selfless in the way he uses them. Not a single time has Piotr ever used his powers for personal gain, as he's a main that believes everything earned should be through hard work and dedication, not abusing a gift you have to take it by force. His powers are more often used to defend others, though he had been known to act like the heavy hitter in a combat situation, as he truly has no preference for his role in combat, believing he should help in whatever way best helps the team.
Since Xavier's death, he seems a little lost, as if a man whom had lost grasp of his dream. Though his painting keeps him happy and distracted, he a little less enthusiastic about running off as Colossus, though he does so anyways as cannot just abandon those who have become his friends and family at the mansion. He also has a great deal of respect for Warren, simply due to the fact that he reopened the mansion and plans to continue Xavier's dream.
"You're not the only one with gifts."
:: MUTATION ::
- :: Organic Steel Transformation ::
Piotr's initial mutation is merely the ability to coat his body with a substance that resembles carbon steel, though seems to be an unknown alloy. While in this form, his body is actually entirely made of the alloy, as his powers connect him to an extra-dimension that 'replaces' his atoms with the atoms of this substance, and turns him into a metallic man. Also, due to the unique way he has his powers, he cannot partially enter this form, and if either entirely armored or not armored at all. Furthermore, this alloy seems to have no magnetic charge, though it seems if he ever falls unconscious while in this form he is forcefully reverted back to human state.- :: Superhuman Qualities ::
While in his armored form, Piotr has several superhuman qualities, mostly strength, stamina, and durability. While armored, he is capable of lifting up to 100 tons with ease, though he can strain his body and lift up to 120 tons before his body gives on him. His body also produces fatigue toxins at a much slower pace while armored, as he's able to maintain peak performance for several days before he tires out. Finally, his armored form is able to withstand extreme temperatures with ease, and can even withstand severe explosions and high impact ballistics and speeding armored trucks.
"Living from day to day, moving from place to place, with no memory of who or what you are."
:: History ::
Piotr was born in the year 1991 to Nikolai and Alexandra Rasputin, and is the proud younger brother of the famous cosmonaut Mikhail Rasputin, and the overprotective older brother to Illyana Rasputin. He had been born into a Soviet Collective Farm, Ust-Ordynski Collective to be exact, and it was here that he spent his childhood. Early on he learned he loved to draw, and the more he partook in this hobby, the better he became, soon aspiring to be the next big artist. He grew up in mild fear for his family's well being, as life on the collective farm wasn't exactly ideal, and even the slightest of errors would be greeted with swift punishment.
In the year 2003, when Piotr was merely 12 years old, his residence was attacked by a gang that had formed in his collective. It was during this assault that his mother and father had been murdered, and as his sister was about to become their next victim, he found his body quickly became metallic as the bullets bounced off him as he protected his sister. After that incident, another one like it didn't happen, though the other residents of the collective didn't treat them any differently. During the next year, he would help the people of the collective out, until a man by the name of Charles Xavier approached him, offering him a place to stay and work on advancing his powers. Though he agreed, it was under the condition his sister could come as well, which didn't seem to be an issue for the man.
Over the next 2 years, Piotr trained at the Xavier Institute, honing his skills and taking on an education. Due to wanting to excel and be the best man he could be for his little sister, he quickly caught up with the other students, and even started trying to get ahead. In late 2006, a tragic event hit the mansion, and Charles Xavier was murder by one of his own students. Though the Institute thrived for a little while after wards, it was quickly closed down and everyone had to leave. At first he and his sister found a place to stay, a nice home that took care of them while they finished schooling. During their time there, the family also helped them become full American Citizens, and had also allowed Piotr an empty room as an art studio. It was on their encouragement he applied for college after High School, and it was because of them that he majored in art.
College was a bit of a struggle at first, as it was widely known around campus he was a mutant. He was bullied, and though he at first let it get to him and responded angrily, he never used his powers to harm a human, and over time came to ignore it. The only time he ever seemed relaxed during these few years, was when he was either in an art class or working on a painting in his dorm, the rest of his day typically being fill with stress for other classes or the other that would mess with him. It was during this time he almost had a breakdown, almost wanting to give up on humans as a whole, until he was approached by a club that consisted of humans, telling him they supported mutant rights and hoped one day they'd be able to live together as equals.
Though he felt the days of the X-Men were long past, he kept his ears opened, eager to return to the mansion should it ever reopen. However. uUpon it's reopen in 2012, Piotr quickly returned, having graduated from college, now a professional artist. He had even gotten some of his work hosted in small galleries, though he wanted to return to his second true passion, helping his fellow mutants, and this time joining the X-Men fully. When returning to Xavier's, he continued his college studies, aiming to become the Arts and Crafts teacher at Xavier's, but settled for hosting a weekly art club.

It was late at night, and Piotr was unable to sleep, so he arose from bed and headed towards his closet. In the back of the closet rested his art supplies, and gathering them up, he took them to the center of his room, setting the canvas up and pulling his stool in front of the easel. Pouring his paint onto a tray and grabbed his brush. Closing his eyes, he allowed an image of what to paint to come to him, and within moments he knew what to paint.
As if a man possessed, his hand guided his brush to the right color, and he began to work on his canvas. He would pain for the next hour or so, fretting over even the tiniest of details, not wanting a single droplet of paint to be out of place. The scene was loving, warm and welcoming, and it was of his family before his parents tragic deaths. It was a family painting, of him, his brother and sister, and his mother and father. As he looked at the painting, he realized he was alone, as he had no clue where his sister was, and he hadn't spoken to his brother since he left Russia, a single tear strolling down his cheek.
When he was done, he carefully took the easel and sat it in the corner of the room, allowing the painting to dry for the night. Carefully putting his supplies away, he returned them to his closet, and then headed towards his bed. If he was to teach art the next day, he needed some sort of sleep, even if it was just a nap. He missed his family, though he had a new one here at the mansion, and he was thankful he had them in his life. With a gentle sigh, he allowed slumber to take him in, though he didn't have a restful night.
