:: PERSONALITY ::
Emma can be extremely cold and calculating. She is hardly would could be called the life of the party. In general her demeanor is as chilly as her last name. She almost always has an agenda and an ulterior motive behind what she does, rarely acting out of altruistic reasons.
One of Emma's most frequently utilized assets is her physical appearance. She is the epitome of the blonde bombshell, and she knows it. She is perfectly willing to use her looks to her advantage in getting what she wants, and she is quite adept at doing so. She tends to dress in a manner that more conservative elements of society would find scandalous, as often as possible. She also tends to skirt the line between decency and indecency in her dress in the classroom, though she could never be accused of going way over the line of decency in the classroom. On her own time, however, is another matter entirely.
When it comes to topics of national importance, such as mutant rights, Emma comes down very strongly on the pro-mutant side of the equation. She is against the Mutant Registration Act. She is not above using her looks, or powers, to sway debates and opinions regarding issues that affect mutant rights, nor is she averse to pulling strings from behind the scenes and setting events into motion that would have significant consequences and a national and international scale.

Emma possesses the ability to transform her entire body into an organic diamond. In this form she is virtually tireless as her body produces no toxins. This form also glows faintly in the dark. While transformed Emma possesses a complete resistance to cold and significant increases to her durability and heat resistance in addition to significantly enhanced strength. There is one flaw in the form where her body can be shattered if she is hit with a diamond bullet. While in this form she cannot access her telepathic powers and possesses a degree of telepathic immunity.- :: Telepathy ::
Emma's abilities, fully realized, can rival those of Charles Xavier and there are few telepaths with abilities as strong, or stronger, than her own. She possesses the ability to read and control minds, alter perceptions and memories, modify brain engrams, provide psychic shielding and communication, mental sedation, mind switching, and astral projection. She can also cause other people to feel mental pain through physical touch, when she so desires. She can also boost the powers of other mutants and communicate with any person from any location on the planet.- :: Telekinesis ::
Emma has displayed low level telekinetic abilities. She typically displays these powers subconsciously and has very little control over them. For example, when she has a bad dream.

:: History ::
Emma was born into the wealthy Frost family of Boston, Massachusetts to parents Winston and Hazel. She is the second of the three Frost girls, being younger than Adrienne and older than Cordelia. She also has an older brother, Christian, whom most of the family have disowned because of his chosen lifestyle. Much of her personality she picked up from her father who was a cold, ruthless, and domineering man that set standards that could not be met on his children.
While in school she was teased relentlessly by the other students. She also had difficulty with her grades when she was younger. As she entered her teenage years she began to get increasingly painful headaches as her telepathic powers manifested. However, once her powers had come into being she used them efficiently to raise her grades by gleaning the answers to exams through telepathy. This led her to begin tutoring other students and kindled a somewhat limited interest in teaching.
Eventually a somewhat limited relationship develops between Emma and one of her high school teachers. When her older sister gives evidence of the relationship to their father the teacher is fired. This leads Emma to retaliate by obtaining evidence of her sister's modelling career and her father's marital infidelity. Her actions reminded her father of himself and, as a result she is chosen to carry on the family fortune. However, her father's treatment of her brother leads Emma to reject his offer and make her own way in life.
Life was hard at first after turning her back on the family fortune as Emma endured a period of homelessness. During this time she met and fell in love with a man named Troy. Troy was involved with a mobster to whom he owed a lot of money. To try and get out of this trouble Emma participated in a phoney kidnapping scheme to try and extort the money they needed from her father, but Winston refused to pay. During this scheme Emma is kidnapped in earnest by the mobster but manages to escape using her powers and a nasty bit of trickery. This allowed her to keep the ransom money.
Using her ill-gotten gains Emma enrolls in Empire State University. During this time she reunites with the teacher in whom she had been romantically interested. She also begins to learn more about mutants and mutant rights issues. She also met another telepath, Astrid Bloom, who began to teach her how to better use her abilities to their maximum potential.
Emma later discovers that Astrid has been behind a number of attacks on campus. Emma attacks Astrid telepathically and leaves her comatose. She then uses her powers to save the job of her former high school teacher who rejects her on discovering she is a mutant. This causes Emma to develop a rather cold demeanor towards normal humans.
On completing her degree in education with a business minor Emma immediately enrolled in and then obtained an MBA. While still in school Emma launched Frost Enterprises which, thanks to her mutant abilities, has grown rapidly to the point that it is a major American corporation that is attempting to bridge out into the international market while also challenging major companies like Worthington Industries and the companies of John Sublime and Bolivar Trask.
Being one of the most successful entrepreneurs in America has caused Emma to be a somewhat highly sought after commodity in terms of guest lectures and speaking engagements. She has, however, instead chosen to turn her focus in teaching towards educating young mutants. With this in mind she applied for a teaching post at Xavier's School to teach economics and business related courses.
