:: PERSONALITY ::
Jamie's core personality is that of a sarcastic, Jerry Seinfeld humor-type, trouble, genius teen dreamer nearly crippled by alcoholism, a gambling habit, insecurities, anger issues and many private tragedies. He as many sides and most people will ave different opinions on whether he's good or not. He tends to hide his emotions and let things build and fester until it all explodes. As such Jamie is a character who can be gorgeous and romantic one minute, not so hot the next, and wild the next. He possesses an uncertain face, a hard to read one. He is a loyal, devoted, overprotective friend, a rock to those he cares about, yet at the same time deeply uncertain and haunted by his past. His mother brings a sense of madness and pain to everything she touches. Because of his messy past, the fact he's hard to read and his anger issues, a deep, hidden ambiguity in his thoughts, emotions, actions, motives and endgame is always on the table. He projects a certain like-ability offset by severe problems, family issues, tragedy and the threat of terrifying, bloody ferocity of he is pushed to the edge. However, Jamie's still a hero with guts, determination and courage who always soldiers on no matter what. Yet his heroism is tainted with a dark side. He has already proven that he can beat the living shit out of someone in a fit of vengeful rage as well as be terrifying and threaten others. He is very overprotective and when it comes down to it he would do absolutely anything to protect the people he cares about. These are some of the risqué aspects of Jamie that make him versatile, hard to read and unpredictable.
Jamie is incredibly smart with an I.Q. of one hundred seventy-two. This is part of the reason he feels trapped. Because most of the people he grew up around have no common sense and he never felt challenged. Which w one of several reasons he acted out growing up. It frustrates him and he goes out of his way to challenge himself, his intelligence. Sometimes this gets him trouble. His intelligence has also created an impatience in Jamie when it comes to people being imbeciles and lacking common sense. He loves doing experiments and having fun. Be it some penny alchemy or creating thermite out of sand, he just enjoys it. Despite his intelligence, Jamie tends to act like an asshole plenty of the time. Especially if he doesn't like you. If he doesn't like you he is very antagonistic towards you or just completely passive as if he wouldn't give a damn if you just dropped dead right next to him. Like he'd just keep walking. He can hold a grudge forever when it comes to the big stuff and he isn't much of a cryer. Sure he understands and will comfort you, but he's a tough guy. Sure he might be softer with a girl or someone, but it's not a facade. He's hard-boiled. A brawler from Red Hook Brooklyn who will do what it takes to protect the people he cares about and would easily take a bullet for them as well. He's been through a lot of shit and even though he feels like breaking down and crying sometimes he usually just soldiers through it. He doesn't complain and cry about the things his mother did to him or ow he grew up without a family or how hurt he is from what his cousin Jon's done over the past few years. Growing up he had to be tough. He had to put on a smile and tell his sister a joke and say it would be alright even when he didn't think it would be. Growing up in Brooklyn he also gained street smarts and is incredibly intuitive. It is near impossible to get anything past him or lie to him. It's of the reason he's so damn great at cards.
Jamie has some serious problems. From holding grudges to gambling to underage drinking. His underage drinking is to such a degree that he is an alcoholic albeit a lower tier alcoholic. He can go days without a drink he wants. But he likes a beer and he likes one especially when he needs to cool down or when he's with his friends, albeit he doesn't need it for either. He is insecure about his drinking as his mother was a drunk and he doesn't want to be anything like her. He has some serious anger problems and is hard-headed and impulsive yet at the same time he is able to keep his intelligence when he's angry usually. But he still says things he doesn't mean and does stupid things like any normal person. He is also violent due to his over protective nature. He has plenty of compassion, but at the same time he's not willing to let it be the end of him. Jamie is also very open towards people. He has mutants and gays as friends and has beat the shit out of homophobes and bullies before and would do it again. He is not sexist in anyway as shown when he right hook the cheerleader who orchestrated the homophobes to jump his gay best friend and beat him into the hospital. She thought she would get a freebie because she was a girl and they were in the middle of the school. Nope. Wrong guy. He right hooked right into the locker causing her to fall to the ground and then threaten her. "Bitch I don't give a fuck if you're my grandmother. You stay away from me and my friends. You don't look at us. You don't talk to us. You don't talk about us. You don't think about us. If you see one of us walking down the street I don't care if there are drunk drivers swirling down the streets a ninety miles an hour, bitch you jaywalk across that street to the opposite sidewalk and you keep on walking. Got it, bitch?" He punch he three more times before leaving. She got the picture. Indeed, Jamie does tend to use the word bitch quite a lot. It's a habit he got from his older cousin Jon. This is a guy who says bitch more than Jesse Pinkman from Breaking Bad. ("This is my own private domicile and I will not be harassed . . . Bitch!")
When it comes to being extroverted or introverted its a difficult pin when it comes to Jamie. It really just depends on who he's around. If he doesn't like them a lot he will usually be scarily quite and ignore them. He doesn't like big parties because they're really crowded and usually have bad music and it's sweaty in there, the same with clubs, but he's fine with a small party with less than twenty people. Really the number of people that counts as small is governed by the size of the place the party's at though. He likes to know that if he needs it he can get some breathing room. He gets more enjoyment having a beer with the guys, playing pool or basketball or staying in and reading a good book than he does going to a crowded, loud, sweaty club or party with terrible music and a bunch of people he doesn't like. He has no problem being around people he doesn't know though. He's got no problem with hanging out with them, sharing a few jokes, etc. It really is a case by case scenario. He has a Jerry Seinfeld-type humor and likewise he regards the man as the funniest man alive. He tends to often say "huh", "what a shame" and "really" in a sarcastic tone a lot as well as respond "noted" whenever being chided for bad behavior or being told what to do albeit this one isn't always rude. He could say it when someone says an there sting fact to him. He tends to crack jokes, but knows when to get serious. That's not to say he's incapable of joking when serious. It just won't be happy jokes. They'll be more serious. He isn't the most laid back guy ever. He can be so with his friends, but when around his family he's wound up pretty damn tight.
He grew up without a television in his house so he isn't big on video games or television or movies. However, there are some that he is a big fan of. For example, he loves Breaking Bad as well as The Walking Dead, of which he has been a fan of the comic book for years. Yes he does love comics. His favorite being The Walking Dead, though he does love rereading his old comics his dad left him from the New Teen Titans era comics and he did enjoy Jaime Reyes' Blue Beetle comic run from a few years back quite a bit. He's also a huge fan of books. From "The Art of War" to the Harry Potter series to "The Iliad and the Odyssey" to Stephen King, Jamie loves books and reads plenty of him. As a kid he spent much of his time in the library as it was his escape from his bad home life. He's also a fan of certain movies such as "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy, Brooklyn Rules, The Usual Suspects (his favorite movie) and Pay it Forward. But generally speaking he doesn't like most movies at all. He finds too many plot holes. There are also certain books regarded as great such as "The Catcher in the Rye" which he despises. There is practically nothing in the world other than drugs that Jamie hates more than J.D. Salinger's "The Catcher in the Rye". He's a fan of older music. Especially Elton John, Billy Joel and the Beatles. His favorite type of music is a-Capella with his favorite song being "For the Longest Time" by Billy Joel. As you can see in several ways he is like an old man. He enjoys a slow day of reading, listening to older music and occasionally watching a classic like The Green Mile, Stand By Me, The Usual Suspects, The Shawkshank Redemption (Frank Darabond is his favorite director) or catching a rerun of The Stand miniseries. He is a humongous fan of comedians Jerry Seinfeld and Dave Chapelle. (Rick James bitch!)

:: MUTATION ::
- :: Electrokinesis ::
When Jamie's mutation activated his body went through numerous changes on the inside. He grew electroreceptive organs and organs for storing electricity. He gained parts to his brain to help with Electroreception as well as controlling electricity in general. He no longer physically needs to breathe, sleep, eat or drink, but is still prohibited by his own mental need for all four. The reason for no longer needing this is because his body runs on electricity as its main power source. He is like a walking battery and/or power generator except he is always generating and storing electricity for various uses and it is an involuntary bodily function for him. His eyes have been enhanced so that the blinding like of electricity and thus lightning will not effect him and his ears have been similarly enhanced to not be effected by the deafening sound of lightning coming out of his finger tips. Through his Electroreception Jamie sends out weak electrical waves that are harmless at all times and is involuntary. This makes him constantly aware of all living and non-living things around him and works like a danger-sense or early warning system. He can tell where someone will punch a split second beforehand. He can use it to figure out if someone is following him as well as learn if he is being tracked by technology. His Electroreception makes him aware of all the different wavelengths and thus be able to know if a certain frequency is tracking him. Damn radar. He is also able to tune into wavelengths to listen to phone calls, the radio, police bandwidths, video chats, etc and enables him to make calls without a phone by tapping his voice into a frequency.
His powers obviously make him able to control and manipulate electricity any way he wants and in different amps and volts. However, it is hard to get exact amperage and the higher amperage and more electricity he wishes to control the harder it gets to control, for example, while he could create a powerful lightning bolt, he would be able to hit a target with such a powerful force. Hed be just as likely to hit hmself in the eye even though it wouldnt do anythng to hm, or worse an alley or an innocent civilian. This makes him a danger to himself and others, tough with time and training he will gain more control over his powers.. He is capable of using his control over electricity for diverse various electrical based attacks ranging from simple such as shooting electricity or overloading a circuit to complex like directong currents in a more complex route than the one of least resistance or creating electrical constructs. The following is a general list of the things he's able to do or is learning to do at his current level. Most of this are the basic techniques of his powers. They aren't different powers, just what he's able to do with one power.
- Absorption: Electricity, even that of other mutants with electrical-based powers, have no effect on Jamie. If he's stronger than them he can overpower their control on electricity and control it himself, but seeing as that's highly unlikely, he is also able to absorb electricity. At his current level Jamie is capable of absorbing electricity from a radius of three city blocks in all directions of where he is standing, however, to absorb that much he would have to release any electricity he already has in him and then release one fourth of that immediately due to a capacity limit.
- Conduction: Jamie is able to use electricity for all practical applications which includes conductivity. he can conduct his electricityi to something to create vibrations thus sharpening the object. he can conducti electricity through any natural conductor of electricity and can do this in order to generate heat.
- Electrostatic Attraction: Jamie is currently just learning to do this and often does it by accident when angry, frustrated and/or annoyed. Eventually he will be able to use his powers to manipulate electrostatic attraction between objects. He will cause things to stick to one another or repel one another. Through this he will be able to scale walls and ceilings with ease by crawling, running, walking or any other method really. He will be capable of causing things such as a mask stick to his face. He will also learn to make himself stick to the backs of larger enemies such as Blob, Juggernaut or the Hulk as a defensive mechanism.
- Electric Tether: Using electrostatic attraction he creates a tether of electricity that can stick to someone in order for him to pull them in. He can also utilize it as a grappling hook causing it to stick to objects and them decrease the size of the tether to hoist himself up or just use it to swing. He cannot currently do this, but later on down the road he will develop this technique.
- Electronics Manipulation: While far from a technopath, Jamie is capable of turning anything that runs on electricity on or off at his whim. He has no problem doing this as it is the most basic use of his powers. He can even do more advanced things with it such as control technology such as channel surfing on the television or hacking into a computer. Albeit hacking is more complicated and sometimes he just ends up frying the computer by accident.
- Electrical Constructs: Currently Jamie is only just starting to learn this and he can only create very small things for no more than ten seconds. Which is not very practical. Electrical Constructs are hard to grasp as while water or air would just fill whatever shape of what you put it in, electricity/lightning does not and isn't meant to be contained in that way. Lightning is free and strikes where it pleases. It isn't meant to be compressed into a form. Eventually he will become adept at this technique, but won't prefer it other than for force-fields. Whenever he creates an electrokinetic construct he creates it's own personal electrical field to keep it in shape.
- Electrical Fires: A fairly simply thing to do, Jamie can easily create electrical fires with his powers, albeit he obviously cannot control the fire itself. This isn't necessarily a technique, but a practical application of electricity. Really, he's just as likely to start an electrical fire by accident whenever using his powers. But he can create them to burn people. Use as a distraction or to help put a little distance between himself and an enemy.
- Electrical Explosions: Have you ever seen lightning hit a tree? It isn't very pretty. Not at all. When enough electricity is pumped into something moist yet otherwise poorly conducting, like a tree or potato, it explodes. They need to include this in the gritty remake of Toy Story. Bye bye Mr. Potato Head. This is also more a practical use of electricity than an actual technique. He's more likely to accidentally cause trees to explode when he loses control of his powers near at tree.
- Paralysis: Jamie doesn't bother attempting paralyzingly anyone at the moment. He doesn't have enough control over the amperage he gives out and could easily end up electrocuting whoever his target is to death just as easy as he could paralyze them. However, in time he will gain more control and be able to paralysis others to varying degrees from knocking them out to just numbing them. They'll always come to though.
- Jolt Inducement: When Jamie first began to manifest his powers he began having seizures and going i to tangents of wild spasms.The doctors diagnosed him with epilepsy, however, none of the medicine worked and it was proven a false diagnostic. This was the early manifestation of his jolt inducement and it still happens when he begins getting to close to his capacity. He doesn't have control over this power yet, but it will eventually become a great asset to him. He will be able to cause molecules to some uncontrollably which can cause some things to explode. He can do this to his own molecules to innervate himself or on other objects to cause them to violently shake. By using this to innervate himself he is able to phase through objects for very short amounts of times as well as direct electricity to certain parts of his body for enhanced strength, speed, agility, reflexes and durability though nothing necessarily superhuman such as super speed or super durability. He won't be running at the speed of light or having bullets bounce off him. He does this by supplying certain areas with more electricity and neural impulses than usual thus stimulating his nerves. This can also make him shut out pain. He could use it to vibrate at certain resonance frequencies toast through things, to disable locks or break or disassemble matter. He could also vibrate the molecules of a speedster or someone with. Tangibility back together while they're attempting to phase. It also makes his brain like a very difficult lock because his brain waves are so damn jumpy that it is very difficult for a telepath to get in there.
- Electrical Aura: Whenever Jamie uses a certain amount of electricity he begins to become surrounded by an electrical aura. He currently has no control over it nor can he summon it at will. Touching has varying results up to and including death. Over time he will slowly gain control over his electrical aura and learn to do different things with it. When covered in his electrical aura Jamie becomes like a electrical/magnetic force repelling and attracting things at his will. He will learn to levitate ferrous material around him while using his aura and this is mostly shown in how he will ride metal garbage can lids and manhole covers. Eventually, very, very far done the line, he will be able to tap into the different polarities of electricity in order to fly using repulsion.
- Scatter Shot: This is the first technique that Jamie is creating. It is a shot that splits off into other shots for a wider firing range for his electricity. The shots can branch from the original or completely separate from it.
- Tracker Shot: A shot attracted to the specific bioelectric aura of another living thing and works like a heat seeking missile, but instead of heat it's attracted to the targets specific bioelectric aura. He is very far from being able to do anything of this caliber.
- Electrokinetic Shockwaves: Jamie will eventually be able to create electrical ahockwaves that can deliver powerful concussive force and large quantities of electricity. He will learn to create an electrical shockwave below him in order to obtain a super leap enabling him to jump tall buldings as well as create one in midair for a double jump effect. He will be very proud of the last bit. "I can jump and then - in midair mind you - jump again thereby defy the laws of physics. What!"
- Electric Bombs: Eventually Jamie will learn to create electric bombs, a technique of his own invention. They are made by concentrating and compressing electricity in an electrical and magnetic field. The size can range anywhere from being small enough to fit in a keyhole to being the size of a beach ball. The bombs themselves vary. For one he has an EMP bomb which is often medium sized and when the magnetic/electric field collapses it releases an EMP harmless to humans, but, as the name suggests, works as an EMP. He has a Flash Bomb created with low levels of electricity and little kinetic energy that is often marble sized that is thrown and the field collapses upon impact releasing a blinding light. He has a dispersive bomb which expands past the size of a beach ball until the magnetic/electric field can no longer contain it and it explodes with electricity and kinetic energy doing less damage over a large area or scale. Then there's the concentrated electric bomb which varies in size and it is more concentrated and compressed. Its magnetic/electric field collapses releasing massive amounts of kinetic energy and electricity in a smaller scale or area than the dispersive bomb. The bigger beach ball sized bombs can blow apart walls and even create miniature craters in the ground.
- Electrokinetic Bullets: Rather than using a firearm, Jamie is ale to shoot bullets of electricity from his body if he so wants. This is the earliest use of his Electrokinetic constructs and the bullets are kept together by an electrical or magnetic field. He will begin learning to change the sizes of the bullets for different uses such as making smaller ones that are more precise making it easier to hit specific locations such as vitals, rapid firing rate with machine gun-like effect causing massive accumulation of damage and increased firing force resulting in shotgun effects. All of the bullets' electrical/magnetic field collapse once it hits and releases electricity throughout the body causing even more intense pain.
- Tesla Arcs: Jamie can create streams of electricity called arcs that look similar to Emperor Palpatine's force lightning from Star Wars. They can be utilized tovattack targets with deadly voltage and amperage. it releases enough intense heat and electricity that it can be used to weld.
- Ball Lightning: Ball Lightning is named after the natural phenomena and looks like it as well. Ball Lightning doesn't use an electrical or magnetic field to keep it together and as such it is what Jamie calls "raw electrical energy" and it is significantly more destructive, but at the same time very hard to control and keep together. It is created in the palm of the hand and takes concentration to make. He usually hold his arm with his other hand for extra support in keeping it steady. The direction of the ball is guided by his mind but he also uses his fingers. It is very destructive and flys around shocking whatever it hits very hard and easily breaks through anything other than things like rubber in its way. It is even powerful and destructive enough to break apart the ground. It has much destructive kinetic force and raw electricity. When he can no longer control it or chooses not to it disperses without harm being done to anything with the electricity going into the atmosphere. He has not developed this and is very far doing so. This is one of the last things he will create and perfect. He refers to this as one of his three signers true moves. The other two are the Explosive Ball Lightning and his Electric Discs.
- Explosive Ball Lightning: The Explosive Ball Lightning is an endgame move used only when ones back is against the wall. It is incredibly powerful and by far the most destructive technique that Jamie with eventually create on the site. It takes a lot of time (at least three posts each time) and immense concentration to create and he needs both hands for it. He uses every last bit of electricity in him and all electricity he can absorb from around him into a gigantic sphere of raw electricity that is thrown and explodes with massive kinetic and electric energy over a wide scale area such as a radius of three to five city blocks. It takes absolutely everything out of him. He's lucky if he doesn't pass out, but he will most likely go into a coma-like state after using it during which he slowly regenerates electricity in order for him to survive. obviously he cannot do this yet and doesn't have this kind of power. He can barely make constructs the size of a ballpoint pen for ten seconds as it is and cannot control a powerful lightning bolt, much less something of this magnetitude.
- Electric Discs: A special signature move of his, the electric discs are an incredibly hard construct to creat and keep together, it is made over the hand and is an Electrokinetic construct spinning rapidly. It is thrown and when he want sit to he makes it expand to whatever length he wants. It is so sharp and rapid that it can cut through basically anything other than adamantium. It also severely electrocutes the things it hits. But it is incredibly hard to make, control and direct and it really only works once against a foe. Once they know how it works the chances of it working are slim unless they're just plain stupid. He will always be trying to create this as its one of his first ideas, but he won't get it until much later and after much experience.
- Electric Spinner - A compressed ball of rapidly spinning electricity attempting to break out. It is levitated just above the palm and is very hard to create and keep control of. You can throw it, but that just makes things harder. The best way to use this is as a close range attack in which Jamie rushes the target and then releases his control over the ball causing to to explode in a spiraling fashion causing the target to rapidly spin upon being hit and flying backwards while being electrocute. He can also make it expand bigger to consume the target in which they are rapidly electrocuted by the spinning lightning inside before it collapses and the electricity is released. This is very hard to make and control and he might never actually get a hand on t to the point of being able to use it practically, but he will be seen practicing it plenty later on once he gains control, training and experience.
- Radar Shielding: Being able to sense the wavelengths of radars and tracking devices, Jamie will eventually be able to create a protective electric shielding around him and others shielding them from detection by making them seem like they are just normal plant life or even nothing if there is nothing around.
Power Weaknesses:
A big downside to Jamie's mutation is that electricity has several resistant materials such as rubber and silicate which make his powers useless. He could essentially be put in a rubber ball or a room sealed completely with rubber and be completely helpless. There are also natural insulators, for example air can be used to isolate electricity. On top of that there are also materials that can be used to redirect electricity and many elastic mutants are immune to electricity. Electricity can also be grounded and the only way to get past that is by breaking the ground apart with an intensely powerful bolt of lightning. Users of reflection manipulation can also be a problem as its unclear whether or not they are immune or not. Let's not forget the fact that water can cause him to short circuit if he's using negative electricity. One weakness that has to be mentioned is his inexperience with his powers. While he does have the theoretics worked out he lacks much practical applications and has no real experience using his powers. Then there's the fact that electricity is very hard to control even for an experienced Electrokinetic, much less a newbie like Jamie. It is very difficult to get a specific amperage or voltage out and as such often over does it or doesn't give out enough. He can easily accidentally electrocute someone to death when trying to shock them if he doesn't pay attention. Plus if he doesn't pay attention he can accidentally spark, usually at his finger tips, when feeling extreme emotions like anger, excitement, anticipation or joyce. He doesn't have much control over his power other than with his electrical bullets. His biggest weakness by far though has to be his capacity. His powers work like muscles because special organs play a large role in his powers. Muscles have to work out to grow bigger, but if you do too much too fast you end up tearing the muscle. As such if he tries to take in too much electricity he will be in pain and his capacity should grow over time with more experience. Each time he uses his powers enough it can be considered a work out it starts to grow and his special organs also grow stronger. However, he generates electricity involuntarily all the time. Which means that if he doesn't release his electricity periodically it builds up and builds up until it reaches it's capacity. When it starts getting too close to his capacity he gets headaches, intense migraines, nosebleeds, dizziness, nausea, seizures, muscle spasms and what feels like a stomach bug but which is really his organs that store electricity in intense pain. Once he reaches his capacity his body does not stop creating electricity. Instead it forces electricity in him out to make room for what it's making. This puts him in an awake seizure-like state with tangents of wild muscle spasms while he is releasing large quantities of electricity violently until his storage is at half it's capacity. He has o control over his electricity at this time and barely has control over his body. The process puts a huge strain on his body thus causing him intense pain all over. On the flip side he gets the same symptoms except for muscle spasms and seizures when he is getting dangerously low on electricity which is what he lives on. If he gets too low his body literally shuts down and makes him go into a coma so he cannot use his reserves. He stays in this coma state until he reaches half his capacity. Also once he begins to reach three fourths capacity he may have trouble with electronics if he isn't careful. He can short circuit them or just fry them by accident. Also, because he absorbs electricity, he can be overloaded beyond capacity by an outside force such as another electricity manipulator or if someone just repeatedly electrocutes him.- :: Theoretically Advanced Electrokinesis ::
I'd like to note that Jamie will not achieve these powers on the site. There may be small hints and what not to what he's capable of when he's older like in his thirties and mid twenties, but he will not achieve them on the site. If a villain ever got ahold of him and wanted to amp up his powers for his villainous deeds though they could and it could be a plot. However, even though he will not have the powers while on the site, Jamie is a genius and loves science so he will talk about the theoretics of his powers and things he should theoretically be able to done when he is older and much more experienced with his powers. He may even do experiments with his powers to try and figure things out.
- Electrolysis: Electrolysis is the process of splitting elements, usually two, back into their original state by use of applied electricity. Theoretically speaking Jamie would eventually be able to do this and it is essentially disintegration when looked at at higher levels. He may or may not eventually show signs of a future in which he is capable of using this by eventually separating water into hydrogen and oxygen molecules in an experiement.
- Bioelectric Manipulation: Theoretically Jamie would be able to control the bioelectric currents in all living things. So essentially he could just stop the bio-electricity from getting to your heart thus making it stop beating and effectively killing you. His potential for bioelectric manipulation is shown in the fact that he can manipulate his own bioelectric aura to match that of his surroundings to avoid detection. He will never progress to anything higher than that on the site though.
- Charged Particle Manipulation: Electricity exists in all form of matter as charged particles. This with the power over electricity, theoretically with enough proper training, level of control and experience Jamie would be able to control all matter in its state of such as gas, liquid, solid and even plasma by controlling electrons, protons and everything else that constitute all matter. Since everything is matter then theoretically this would permit the user to control everything and anything he wished. If advanced enough he may even learn to control anti-particles. Of course, Jamie will never become even close to this advanced on the site. Maybe if he's on for a year or two he'll show the tiniest hints of his potential by manipulating electrons and protons or something in a lab experiment, but nothing more than that.
- Neural Impulse Manipulation: Theoretically, Jamie could sense and control neural impulse as they are technically just electrical discharges. This would enable hi. To control thoughts and consciousness, evoke emotions or even kill a target by blocking the hearts contraction pt depriving or overloading the foe with neural impulses. Memories could be completely rewritten by installing new synapses or by blocking them out thus preventing access to that part of the mind. He could create a link between two or more organic, to mentally pick up and transmit neural impulses as if they were his own to begin with. He could make his opponents hear things In the middle of battle to disorient them. He could energize his own or other peoples brains thus give it more brain activity and allowing a higher level of focus, reflex and sense or increase the surge of neural impulses that are released to perform actions faster which would make his attacks stronger. He could suppress pain in battle and if it came toot reanimate fallen comrades to fight even after the bitter end. After the battle the power can be used to prevent someone from accessing their ability if it is a consciously controlled power. It could be used to create neural impulses to stimulate targets sensitivity to pain, to mimic intense pain and even compel targets to harm themselves. It is obvious that he will never develop this power on the site, but it is something that he could work on whe noes listing and thinking of the theoretics of his and others mutations.
- Electrical Field Negation: Electrical energy. Every atom in existence is bound by an electrical field. Theoretically, Jamie's powers, if ever reached an advanced state, would enable him to destroy or negate these fields to his every whim. By negating an objects electric field he would be effectively annihilating any form of structure. He would literally be able to reduce anything into dust, the dust into atoms and the atoms into nothing. Total event collapse. He will never develop this on the site, that's a given. However, it is possibly a villain might try to magnify and advance his powers to harness that power into their own weapon if anyone ever wanted to do a plot like that.

:: History ::
Crystal McKay had Jamie at sixteen. By the time he was three his dad died of an overdose and left him with a newborn sister to protect and a schizophrenic mother who wasn't easy to be around. She was high strong, paranoid, easily slighted, quick to cry and was emotionally disconnected from her acts and had violent, bestial outbursts. She viewed her kids as the proxy for everything wrong with her life. If that wasn't bad enough, she was a heavy drinker and a hardcore drug addict who constantly lied and made excuses for her slights and faults, but Jamie made sure he got the blunt end of it to protect Abigail. Their apartment in Polygon Projects in Red Hook, Brooklyn was as you might expect from a heavy drinker and hardcore drug addict. The power, gas and water was usually cut off. The money from prostitution went straight to her habits. He'd out a bucket out for rain, but it didn't always rain. He always gave the little bit left to Abby and instead drank the only other thing in the house, alcohol. His best friends were a constant support. He met Trev in kindhearted, Chris when he was placed in an advanced gifted class in the third grade.in a way, they were his family. His real family were too disillusioned, ashamed and afraid to put his mom in a mental ward or turn on their own blood. Jamie was always too afraid to call the police. He always felt and still does that his family chose his mother over him and Abby. Something he's never forgiven them for. But Trev and Chris were there for him. Like a real family should be. They spotted him lunch money when his mother used his to buy a tenth of glass. They helped him shovel snow for money during the cold months. They were always there for comfort. When his mother disappeared for days he knew he and Abigail could go to either of their homes for shelter, safety and food. His Aunt Amy also lived in Red Hook with her two sons. Diego was older and the same age as Jamie while Mikey was younger and the same age as Abigail. Then there was his older cousin Jon who lived a town over, but spent more time in Red Hook as it was were he was originally from. He and Jon were always very close as were he and Mikey. Jamie looked to Jon as an older brother figure and Mikey did the same to Jamie. It was Jon who taught Jamie how to fight and it was Jon who taught him how play pool and cards. Jon was also where Jamie got his bad habit of saying bitch excessively.
At the age of eleven Jamie bought his first gun, illegally of course, with money he earned mowing lawns after an incident in which a drug dealer broke in looking for money his mom owed him. He had hid Abigail in the closest so the man thought it was just him and kept him on the couch waiting for his mom to come home and pay up. In the end Jon showed up looking to hang out and ended up paying the man. When he was thirteen he and Jon started drifting apart as Jon got more involved with hardcore drugs. Meth. Heroine mostly. Jon was hurting himself and those around him with his constant lies, excuses, irrational anger and a number of other things. He had dropped out of school in his senior year. Gotten fired from his job. Getting detained for possession. He was ruining his life. Everyone tried to get him clean, but no one tried harder or believed in him more than Jamie. That meant that when everything came crashing down Jamie was the one who took it the hardest. The night that Jamie gave up on Jon he was fifteen. He was jumped coming back from his job as a waiter at a local joint and taken back to a warehouse. His cousin had crossed a gang of mutants drug peddlers. They used black plasticuffs to cuff his left hand to a radiator. The two guys who were meant to keep an eye on him left for a bump rationalizing that he wasn't going anywhere. He was being held as insurance. His mother was so high out of her mind she didn't realize he was gone and Jon had been arrested for possession so he couldn't get to the meet to pay up the money he owed. He fell asleep in captivity that night. But the next day when he woke up he put his brain to work. He turned off the power switch of an extension cord near him and chewed the wire apart before sticking one wire end up between the plasticuffs and his skin. Then he turned the power switch on and put the wire up to each other so when the tips touched they ignited. Eventually he burned through the plasticuffs and climbed out a window he broke. He got home at around six forty, made himself a PB&J sandwich and walked to school. Jon's parents bailed him out and he scraped up the money he owed thinking they still had Jamie. Jon thought they were cool after everything that happened because he paid his debt and even if he hadn't Jamie's giant brain got him out of the mess anyway. Jamie never forgave him.
Two weeks later he and his girlfriend of six years, a wonderful girl who stuck with him through it all, died. She had been clean for a year and a half, but she relapsed. But that one relapse with Jon was enough. She overdosed and asphyxiated on her throwup in her sleep because she rolled over onto her back. Jon woke up to his dead girlfriend in bed next to him. That was the wake up call that caused him to go to rehab. A lot happened while Jon was in rehab. Trev came out as gay which caused plenty of bullying at school. Jamie got in more than one fight protecting his friends. Not all of them were ones he won. He perfected his system for counting cards. The older kids held plenty of games and he had a very good poker face. He and Chris finally managed to make Fulminated Mercury and blew up a car at the local junkyard with it. They were always up to something crazy ever since they were young. From turning penny's gold and silver to making Potassium Chlorate out of bleach to making thermite out of sand. All kinds of stuff. Crystal McKay had taken her sons arm to a stove burner. Now she was in a state mental hospital. Jamie and Abigail were living with their Aunt Amy, whom became their legal guardian. After his parents divorced, Jamie's cousin Drew moved to Red Hook with his dad. He had grown up in a very religious household in upstate New York and was an only child with two loving parents. He had a nice, big house and the whole family had Thanksgiving dinner there every year. To lose all of that must have been rough. Drew was very religious and tried to push his beliefs onto other people more persistently than a Jehovah's Witness. Meanwhile, God had never been mentioned in Jamie's house, much less worshipped. He was an atheist, still is, always will be. But unlike Drew, Jamie respected others beliefs as long as they weren't drug related. He understood why some people believed in God and he respected their choice. He understood that some people are gay or trans and respected their lifestyles. He knew that they weren't confused like Drew thought. You can't change being gay or trans and that was something Drew didn't understand and certainly didn't respect. In fact, he was homophobic and avoided so much as looking at Trev.
Then Jon came back from rehab and moved in. Something that Jamie vehemently opposed. Jon kept trying to rekindle their old friendship, but Jamie couldn't bring himself to give him another chance after everything, he had give him too many chances. He'd just hurt him again. It wasn't long after Jon got back he began getting intense migraines. He got it checked out but they got nothing, then he got what seemed to be a stomach bug but went to the doctor again after having it for four days, they couldn't figure out what was wrong. Then the seizures started. The doctors couldn't figure out exactly why he was having them and wrongfully diagnosed him with epilepsey, but the medicine wasn't helping any so he was taken off. Then one day he went into a seizure-like state while still awake while home alone with Jon after getting into a heated argument. He began shooting off jolts of electricity and causing electronics to freak out. His body was violently shaking and he was having wild tangents of spasms and his body hurt like hell. Then he finally passed out. When he came to Jon explained to him that he was a mutant too, since he was fourteen. They began to bond even though he was very reluctant to let Jon back into his life. They both began to worry about Drew who seemed very depressed, even more so than usual since the divorce. One day he decided he couldn't take it any more. Even if his family ignored his problems and left him to fend for himself he couldn't do it to them. So he confronted Drew in his room one day only to see he was a mutant. He had been a mutant for quite some time. For a year and a half. He was ashamed of his abnormality and hid it from his parents. They found out and his mother got him hooked on the cure. But his father couldn't bare to see his son addicted to that stuff as much as he disliked him being a mutant. His parents began to fight until eventually they divorced.
Soon Diego began developing illusion powers and wants dot use them to become rich and famous. He began crime fighting with Jon and Drew. Jamie stayed out, but was dragged in a few times getting his codename after being called impulsive. Jamie getting involved was a bad idea. He didn't have control over his powers, didn't have the right to decide who was guilty or not or to take things into his own hands. He could screw with an investigation. Attack an undercover cop. An informant. Someone innocent. But soon he'd take things into his own hands. Trev was jumped and beaten into the hospital. Jamie had only seen Todd from his school fleeing, but he knew that it was a group. Todd was immediately released due to his father being a high ranking cop. Trev wasn't giving names. So he tracked down Todd and beat the snot out of him. He only gave up the names after he broke two of his fingers. He threatened him. Scared him into not telling. He did the same to the others. He then went to the one who orchestrated it all. Ella. A bitter, homophobic girl with a chip on both shoulders and something to prove. She thought because they were in school and that she was a girl that she was going to get a free pass. Unfortunately Jamie didn't care what gender she was. He socked her across the face so hard she smashed into the lockers and fell to the floor where he threaten her. They never had any problems with them again. Jamie managed to convince Trev to take his gun when he foot of the hospital. Soon Trev even began developing a mutation. Chris, whose dream it was to have powers, grew increasingly jealous. That wasn't all. Imagine Jamie's surprise when his mom was released in his aunts care all drugged up on Thorazine. Apparently his mom was making substantial progress. Was he supposed to just forget it all? All the pain and trauma? The fact she burned his forearm on a stove? She always made false promises what made this time different? But everyone took his mothers side stating he wasn't giving her a chance, she had had sixteen years of chances. Jamie knew his mother was a time bomb and he didn't plan on being around for the boom. So he began saving every scent from mowing lawns, He was already saving most his money.
So he didn't give her a chance. He began saving up every last cent he made from mowing lawns, his job as a waiter, his pool game bets and his gambling. He already had a ton of money saved up that he was saving to buy a car. But getting out was more important. It only took his mother a few hours to have her first fit albeit it was small scale. And it only took her two weeks to relapse into her old alcohol and drug problems. Jamie had been the first one home that day. He came home to find her on the couch choking on her own throw up. It had always been his job to turn her on her side. His hands trembled and he gritted his teeth. He didn't realize his eyes getting watery until tears were rolling down his face. Why couldn't he save her? Why wouldn't he? Was he that cold after everything she did to him? That callous? He finally went over and turned her on her side saving her. But as he did so he saw Drew in the door way. He had seen that he wasn't going to do it before. They didn't send her back and Drew told everyone of Jamie's hesitance. But Jamie was done with them. He packed and took the three grand he had saved and he left. He went to Trev's at first where he stayed up until a week or so ago. Trev tried to convince him that family was important and that he had to make up with them. He furiously left with his stuff. He rented a crappy studio apartment in Polygon Projects for only eight fifty a month. However the two mutant gang members who were supposed to watch him so long ago, whom paid dearly after his escape, have seen him after all this time and are about to jump him in an alleyway. They're ready for their revenge. Little does he know he will soon be brought into the X-mansion fold and Chris, Abby and Mikey are about to develop their powers.

Jamie rubbed his hands together as he listened to his friends cynical attitudes about it wasn't going to work. Are sand could be made out of thermite. But surely Jamie couldn't do it! Right? His blue eyes glistened with excitement as he waited for e reaction. He really hoped this worked. He had money riding on it. He had done everything right. He had used a 1.67:1 sand to aluminum powder ratio, but decided to add extra aluminum powder as well as sulfur because otherwise it would be significantly harder to ignite and he couldn't be having that. He had made sure to crush the sand in a mortar and pestle to get a fine powder and the highest mesh size he could get. And the others were already a fine powder to begin with. It was a nice beige color ontop and he had put it into the slow-release mechanism of a garden pot with two magnesium strips and Potassium Permanganate. He had already added the glycerin. Now all there was to do was wait.
He was in a junkyard with his two best friends Trev and Chris finishing off a bet over whether or not he could make thermite from sand. The pot was now on a car right over the engine to test it out. After all, that part is thickest and strongest with metal. Time for some thermite versus car action! The trio of course were wearing goggles and were standing a safe distance from the location of the thermite and car. Trev was taping it with his phone. Probably hoping to capture the great mind of Jamie McKay failing in order to playfully bring it up and show proof years later in a friendly joking matter. But not today. He knew he was right. He knew it would work. He had done everything right! He was going to win his fifty bucks from each of them! Then it happened. The slow reaction began as the molten fiery concoction rose slowly before bursting into the air above it and falling back down on the car. It was slowing sinking into the car. Jamie threw his hands into the air and jumped a few times. "Yeah! Thermite out of fucking sand, bitches!" Jamie was overly happy about this as he threw his goggles onto the ground after ripping them from his face and running over to the thermite which had stopped already and burned right through the engine of the car. He looked straight through the hole at e liquid metal beneath it.
"Yeeaah! Where's my money," he question jokingly going up to his friends as they went into their pockets to get the money. "Yeah, that's right. Fifty bucks each. Pay up bitches. This is what happens when you go up against me." He felt the fifties slap into his hand one after the other. He took out his own two he would of had to give up if he had lost the bet and brought them up to his nose tauntingly. "Ah . . . you smell that? You smell the lingering smell of burning sulfur signifying your defeat?" He taunted putting the only away. Indeed it smelled pretty damn terrible due to the sulfur, but hell he won a hundred bucks so he couldn't complain.
