All reservations are ONE WEEK (7 DAYS) from when you post your Reservation POST.

Your post is all that is needed to reserve a character. If your app is taking longer than a week then you are EXPECTED to update your reservation claim which is as simple as updating the Reservation Ending Date. We will no longer be updating this manually as it is YOUR responsibility.
If something happens and you disappear (beyond your reservation date) then you may lose the character. We are sorry, we understand it may not be your fault, and we ask that you find another character if the one you wanted is taken in the time you are gone. If there is not one you are interested in then feel free to seek other boards via our Advertisements area.
Question; Does having an application up nullify my need for a reservation? It does place a claim on the character. However, if your app goes several days with no updates or word from you on its status we will assume it has been abandoned. We PREFER you use the reservation as your primary means of holding onto a character.
IF your reservation has been updated for 3 weeks with no visible UPDATES then we reserve the right to revoke your claim. Two weeks is more then enough time for an application to be finished as we have a smaller application then MOST boards. There is NO excuse for an app to take a Month's time to complete.
